Welcome to the Clinton Young Foundation (“CYF,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using our website and online services (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
1) Who can use the Site
You must be able to form a binding contract and follow all applicable laws. The Site is not for children under 13. We may suspend or end access at any time.
2) What you can do here
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to browse, learn, donate, sign up for updates, and contact us—for personal, non-commercial use.
3) Donations & transactions
Donations are processed by third-party providers. Please review their terms. Unless required by law or announced otherwise, donations are non-refundable. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact your bank and us promptly.
4) Accounts & communications
If you create an account or subscribe, provide accurate information and keep it secure. By giving us your email or phone number, you agree we may send service and program messages. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails anytime.
5) Play fair (prohibited uses)
Don’t break the law, disrupt the Site, scrape or copy content at scale, upload malware, try to access others’ data, impersonate anyone, or use the Site for commercial solicitations without our written permission.
6) Your content
If you submit content (e.g., comments, messages, uploads), you keep your rights but grant CYF a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share it to operate and promote our mission. Only post content you have the right to share and that complies with the law.
7) Our content & IP
Everything on the Site (text, graphics, logos, photos, videos, and code) belongs to CYF or our licensors. Don’t reproduce or distribute it without permission, except for personal, fair use with attribution.
8) Links & third parties
We may link to other sites or use third-party services (e.g., donation processors, video platforms). We’re not responsible for their content or practices—those are governed by their policies.
9) Privacy & security
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We use reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee security. You use the Site at your own risk.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CYF and our directors, staff, volunteers, and vendors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. Our total liability for claims related to the Site will not exceed $100.
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CYF harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Site, your content, or violation of these Terms or any law.
14) Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by Texas law (without regard to conflicts rules). Disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless otherwise required by law.
15) Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the new date above. Continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.
